This painting measure 6 x 8 and is lovely framed and hanging in a hallway, over a table with a stack of books to offset it. This was painted at 1335 Orchard Ave and was from a period of time in 1993 when I did a lot of paintings set in this back yard. Obviously it was spring with the tulips and I learned an important concept: You can refresh flowers but soaking the stems in BOILING WATER for a few minute. It's counterintuitive but it works and it works great with sunflowers
